Dr Orna Rosenfeld has presented at over 100 conferences and summits around the world.
Her talks have taken her to over 30 countries and a wide range of audiences from the United Nations in Geneva and European Parliament in Brussels, to US Senators in Washington, housing ministers and policymakers from Western Balkans and Central Asia, city leaders in Vienna, Amsterdam and Bratislava, university students in London and Paris, young leaders in Chicago, Malta and Singapore, architects in Turkey and Israel, gender empowerment NGOs in Serbia, social housing provides worldwide as well as European Investment Bank and the World Bank.

ORNA SPOKE AT FOLLOWING INSTITUTIONS AND CONFERENCES
Dr Orna Rosenfeld has presented at the UN Headquarters in Geneva since 2013. She has shared stages with the Chief of the UN Geneva Headquarter, as well as Ministers and policy makers from 56 countries in the Global North.
Dr Rosenfeld has given an expert input to the Housing for All initiative session at the European Parliament in December 2019. The title of her presentation was: Housing matters, it shapes our common European future.
Dr Rosenfeld has addressed the members of the US senate as a part of her Philanthropic efforts between 1999 and 2001. She as been instrumental in raising funds for education, emergency rescue and housing of migrants affected by conflict.
Orna Rosenfeld has first presented at the World Bank as early as 1999 at the Symposium on the Preservation of Historic Cities and Sacred Places. Her presentation on the needs for the preservation of the historical sites and sacred places in the Western Balkans was a part of the World Bank efforts for Culture in Sustainable Development. In 2015 she returned to advise the World Bank Group on the issues of Informal settlements in the Countries with economies in transition.
in 2018, Dr Rosenfeld was invited to presented her analysis of the European data limitations in the housing sector and the needs for their imrovement.
In 2010, Orna Rosenfeld presented her research on managing migration in urban context along with Emeritus Professor Judith Allen.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to the Sorbonne conference Tackling Urban Fragmentation, Alternative Approaches to Urban Regeneration in 2011 to present her doctoral research conducted in the United Kingdom.
Since 2016 Dr Orna Rosenfeld has presented at numeros European Commission and the EU Commission organised events including the Cities Forum, European Week of Cities and Regions, Urban Innovative Actions and in the framework of the EU Urban Agenda Partnership for Housing.
In 2014 Dr Rosenfeld was awarded a title World Cities Summit Young Leader, since then she has presented both at the Young Leaders Summits in Singapore and New York and moderated sessions at the World Cities Summit gatherings.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to present her research on housing migrants at the European Alpbach Forum interdisciplinary platform for science, politics, business and culture in 2016.
Based on the popular public vote Dr Rosenfeld has been invited by the Ubran Future Global Conference as a speaker in 2020 to address the issues related to affordable housing.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld presented her research on models, trends and challenges in the affordable housing in the Global North in 2016.
Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, INTBAU is a global network dedicated to creating better places to live through traditional building, architecture, and urbanism. Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to present the trends and challenges in social and affordable housing in the Global North at the INTBAU World Congress 2016.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to present the findings of her study into the housing systems in Europe, North America and Central Asia in order to help ELTI members make the case for increasing European investment into affordable and social housing.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was been the housing adviser to the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) since 2016. She has been invited to present her scientific work on affordable housing and housing governance in Europe to the CEB staff in order to support their decisions on investment in this sector.
Dr Rosenfeld brought gender issues related to inclusive growth to the EBRD Business Forum as early as 2010. She presented the research on gender aspects of diversification of the rural economy in the Western Balkans.
As an advisor to the European Union Housing Partnership Coordinators, Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to discuss the issues around housing justice at the 2018 MIPIM - The world's leading property market conference.
Dr Rosenfeld gave a keynote speech at the HypZert Global Valuation Conference 2016 discussing the housing affordability crisis and their potential impact on the real estate sector.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited by the Social Infrastructure Investment conference organizers to speak about her comparative research on the social housing systems in Europe, North America and Central Asia.
Le Cercle du Grand Paris and Societe Generale bank invited Dr Orna Rosenfeld to contribute a high level panel discussing housing and future of urban inclusion at the Societe Generale Headquarters in Paris in 2019.
Winner of the AESOP - award for the best doctoral contribution to the congress, Dr Orna Rosenfeld has presented at the AESOP - Association of the European Schools of Planning conferences across Europe since 2009.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld served as a speaker and a fundraiser for the Jewish Federations of North America 2000 and 2001 campaign. She increased the donations for global needs for 30% at events spoken. In doing so she has supported philanthropic efforts of this organisation as well as that of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
TU Delft has invited Dr Rosenfeld to present and then publish the results of her doctoral research, considering it ground breaking effort in the area of the governance of housing and urban regeneration. She has since presented at the University on several occasions.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld has been a frequent speaker and contributor to the events and conferences organised by European Economic and Social Committee that focus on housing and inclusiong specifically.
The City of Amsterdam invited Dr Orna Rosenfeld to provide expert presentations on issues of housing and housing migrants at various conferences since 2017.
The representatives of the City of Lisbon invited Dr Rosenfeld to give an expert input to their discussions on housing affordability crisis and latter legislation on housing.
Dr Rosenfeld's collaboration with the City of Vienna started in 2015, since then Orna has presented at numerous events organised by the City.
As a practicing architect in 2000s Orna presented her award wining urban development master plan in the Municipality of Jerusalem including at the Conference the Israeli Association of United Architects.
Dr Rosenfeld was invited to discuss the key trends and challenges in affordable housing in Europe, North America and Central Asia by the Goverment of the Czech Republic organizer of European Habitat and the European contribution to Habitat III.
Dr Rosenfeld provided research in support for the advancement of housing and spatial strategy in the Republic of Serbia and was invited by the Government to provide a keynote speech for their conference on the matter.
Dr Orna Rosenfeld was invited to provide an expert presentation on the challenges and opportunities in European housing data collection in Luxembourg as a part of the EU Urban Agenda Partnership for Housing.
Dr Rosenfeld had an honor to be invited to address the European Young Leaders 2018 cohort and discuss the housing affordability challenges and opportunities in Europe.
A regular contributor since 2009, Dr Orna Rosenfeld has presented her scientific work on housing, housing market renewal, housing governance and more at the ENHR European Network for Housing Research conferences on numerous occasions.

Dr Orna Rosenfeld was one of the distinguished speakers at the International Housing Forum 2017 (IHF 2017) in Singapore. She shared her wealth of experience on the topic “Price of Liveability”, focusing on the social and affordable housing in the global north. Dr Rosenfeld’s active contribution as a speaker and in the panel discussion on Housing Policies, Governance and Finance had made the IHF 2017 a great success. Dr Orna Rosenfeld was one of the distinguished panellists at the ‘Financing social infrastructure in support of inclusive growth in Europe’ high-level conference, co-organised by the Council of Europe Development Bank under the auspices of the European Long-term Investors Association in July 2017. Dr Rosenfeld’s unique insights into Europe’s social housing and extensive knowledge of the sector across the CEB’s member countries greatly enriched the discussion on different financing patterns for the social and affordable housing.
